Some say the word “Ankh” is an Ancient Egyptian root meaning transfigured Spirit. Others say it is an Akan language word for “Life”. Thereafter, the Ankh became known as the African “Cross” of Life and the earliest and most sacred symbol of Ancient Egyptian religion. My deconstruction of the Ankh is to show my transfigured spirit during my time of spiritual awakening. The death of my ego into a more enlightened spiritual being on this radiant plant of ours.
