PROJECT OVERVIEW
Conceptualize and create original album artwork that reflects the timeless essence of cruising around town with the homies, listening to 90’s Hip Hop and RnB.

SCOPE OF WORK
The first thing I did before brainstorming any ideas was sit in my living room with my eyes closed and just listen to the album a couple times in its entirety. I wanted to get an overall feel of the album so I could capture that emotion within the design I decided to create. The images that appeared in my head came from memories of my late teens and early 20’s when I bought my first car. A 1978 Toyota Celica in SF Giants orange. The joy I shared driving around the Bay Area at night with my closest friends, listening to whatever mixtape one of us created and had at our disposal; with little to no cares in the world. Great times!
